Content Network Optimization
ClickSweeper now supports bidding and performance analysis for
“The Content Network.” We’ve heard your stories of disastrous
results using the content network without an ability to analyze
performance or manage keyword bidding effectively. Now you can use
the content network with its countless affiliate portals without
fear of surprising performance results. ClickSweeper will
automatically optimize bidding based on content network AdGroup
performance.
Dynamic Conversion Support
ClickSweeper can optimize bidding based on the actual revenue
generated per keyword. If you have dynamic conversion tracking set
up in Google and Yahoo, you no longer have to base bidding
optimization on estimates or averages. Instead, ClickSweeper
optimizes bidding by “dynamic conversion values.” This means, when
revenue amounts vary by transaction (and they usually do),
ClickSweeper calculates and automatically optimizes bids based on
each keyword’s revenue-generating performance. ClickSweeper then
promotes the usage of the keywords with the highest returns.
Optimize by Conversion Type
ClickSweeper also collects search engine tracking data and
optimizes your bidding for multiple conversion types. For example,
you may have a keyword that generates three different valuable
actions: A) “a sale”, B) “a lead”, and C) “a white-paper down-load”.
Google allows you to set a numerical value for each one of these
“conversion types” based on the value of each to your company. You
may choose to set the numerical point value of A) “a sale” at 10
points, B) “a lead” at three points and C) “a white paper down-load”
at 1 point. Based on your point value assignment of each action in
the search engine tracking code, ClickSweeper automatically
calculates an accurate cumulative value for each keyword based on
the number and type of conversions. It then optimizes bids
accordingly, tallying up the points associated with each keyword,
promoting keywords with higher values while demoting lower
performers.
Keyword Bid Options
Up to five variables per keyword or group
Designed to simplify your daily tasks, ClickSweeper bidding
options are simple to choose and easy to modify. You can choose an
option across an entire campaign, and ClickSweeper will
automatically optimize your bidding and you can expect dramatic
results.
In addition to campaign-wide bidding strategies,
ClickSweeper also gives you the option to apply up to five different
rules per keyword. Some keywords are so important, you want
the option of presetting these parameters and letting ClickSweeper’s
micromanager do the rest of the work watching and optimizing your
pay per click results.
These rule-based parameters at the keyword level include:
Overall Budget – If you choose a budget-based bidding
approach, keyword bids will not be allowed to increase your
pre-selected account or campaign budget caps. If you choose the
Keyword ROI approach, keyword bids will be optimized by your ROAS or
CPA constraints.
-
Automatic Keyword
Bids – this is the bid a particular keyword is assigned by one
of the four different bidding strategies included in
ClickSweeper (see Smart Bidding Options) [make link]. Automatic
daily recalculation of bids can be based on budget goals and
caps, conversion counts, rank & budget, or keyword ROI goals.
-
Guaranteed Min
Ranking – this bidding parameter can be set to insure all your
keywords reach a minimum rank. This rule is always secondary to
your budget cap.
-
Rank Goal -- At the
keyword level, you may select a rank goal and override
algorithm-generated keyword bid.
-
Rank-based Max Bid
– When you select a rank goal for a particular keyword or
keywords, you may also input the maximum bid price you are will
to pay for the keyword. The rank goal will be reached, but not
it if exceeds your Rank-based Max Bid price cap.
-
Fixed Bid – You may
choose, at the keyword level, to eliminate a keyword or keywords
from the bidding strategy and input a fixed bid instead of a
rank goal or max bid.
Real-time Bid Changes
ClickSweeper methodology employs the wisest, most conservative
API usage in the industry. We routinely optimize and update bids
once per day, keeping more money in your pocket. However, when you
want to apply bid changes immediately, you can.
